Frocks dress agency in
Sandown High Street.
Last summer, owner Christine
Stringer moved the business to
new premises with double the
amount of space to showcase her
fabulous collection of dresses, hats,
fascinators and accessories for hire.
She now has a choice of over 2,000
outfits catering for all shapes, sizes
and ages, and says that hiring makes
much more sense than buying when
it’s for a one-off event or occasion.
Everyone from mothers of the
bride to 16 year-old school leavers
can enjoy the process of trying on
gorgeous frocks, with personal
guidance and advice on colours and
accessorising if they need it.
Thanks to the growth of the
wedding outfit side of the business,
Christine has also recently diversified
into offering wedding favours and
decorations as an additional service.
Posh Frocks also dresses lots of
ladies for many of the Island’s charity
balls – and as a goodwill gesture, will
donate £10 to the relevant charity, on
production of the customer’s ticket
for the event.
