An Island hair and beauty salon will soon be offering one of the latest face and body treatments to have sent celebrities into a buzz of excitement .
Endorsed by the likes of Katie Price , the non-surgical Lipofirm treatment is effective at everything from tightening skin and smoothing facial lines to so-called ‘ butt-lifting ’ - and Charlotte Brown says she can ’ t wait to start offering it at her Charlotte ’ s Academy salon in Cowes . She said her staff were about to start training in the new treatment , with a view to offering it to clients from April . The salon , which has 10 staff and offers a whole range of beauty salon treatments as well as expert hair cutting and colouring , is also rapidly becoming a popular choice for hen parties and pamper days . Charlotte says that with a second beauty room now open , pairs of friends , sisters or mums and daughters can book a relaxing time together . Meanwhile , younger customers are welcome for pamper-style birthday parties , which are offered for nine year-olds and upwards . Whatever their age , customers get to personalise their manicure , pedicure or body pampering experience by choosing their own scent from the All That Jazz range of products . Charlotte ’ s salon is certainly a very different business from the one that she started 16 years ago . Things really started expanding after it moved to the current premises at Birmingham Road , Cowes , and now there ’ s a continuous process of adding new services and keeping staff up to speed with the latest trends . Charlotte , who qualified as a Master Colourist with top hair brand Wella , is particularly hot on staff training , and makes sure all her hairdressers attend regular courses in London as well as in the salon .
