Ken Prust is a new sculptural artist who recently joined the Gallery. His fascination with weathered metal and burnished wood has lead to an impressive array of shape and form. Lil Nutter, Kate Richardson and Lynn Young are all artists with a passion for the energy of the sea, the mystery of distant shores and those blissful moments when you just stand and stare at the ever changing water that surrounds this Island. See www.seaviewart.co.uk or Facebook for the gallery opening times. Coastline and weather “Coastline and Weather” is an exhibition at Seaview Art Gallery running from 27th May - 10th June. The artists taking part are Fiona Moatt, Charlotte Hodge Thomas, Suzanne Whitmarsh and Paul Geraghty. All four of these artists have been accepted into the National Acrylic Painters Association and have to keep up a level of excellence to stay in the association and exhibit every year, together with their fellow members in St Ives - The Crypt Gallery. This exhibition celebrates our local talent and also welcomes Paul Geraghty (past Director of the Association) as a special guest exhibitor. All these artists very much have their own styles and approaches. Fiona’s sparkling seas and atmospheric skies, Charlotte’s zingy blue detailed breathtaking pieces, Suzanne’s pared down stripey subtle approach and Paul’s naturalistic detail and stunning light observation all live well together on the Gallery walls.
