Hair Lounge relocates
Hair Lounge, the successful hair
salon has relocated to St Thomas
Square in the heart of Newport. Brett
Gardner, proprietor, commented:
“We felt that we had outgrown our
previous location. Where we are now
is far better for us and our clientele.”
Hair Lounge, which has been
established for over 6 years, has a
team of talented stylists on hand.
“We have a strong and confident
team of stylists including some up
and coming talent.”
Brett’s a great believer in training
and works closely with TIGI and their
artistic team. The new premises
took Brett and his team only two

weeks to complete and then the
doors were open for business.
“Being located on the ground floor
has made our clients life and our life
a lot easier, we are right in the heart
of where it all happens.”
Their new premises are fully
air-conditioned and they retail the
complete TIGI range. The team
consist of four senior members,
Lauren, Toni, Jess and Brett and two
talented and upcoming apprentices,
Lucy and Chelsea.
Working alongside Brett is
Lauren, who has appeared in Island
Life previously. Lauren will be
running a private hair-loss clinic,
My New Hair, offering one-to-
one consultations to help Island
residents. Lauren commented:
“After my own experience with
hair-loss due to Chemotherapy, I felt
being a hairdresser I wanted to give
something back and support others
going through similar experiences.
My clinic is for anyone who suffers
from any form of hair loss, with
treatment ranging from Nioxin, a
range of products that encourages
hair growth, to hair replacement
systems and personalisation.
“Our team looks forward to
welcoming all clientele new and old
to the new location.”
