Ryde Summer School is packed full of adventure
new Summer School for 5 to 14
A year olds is opening this July at Ryde School . Running during the last two weeks of July and the first two weeks of August , courses are packed full of activities , sports and adventure .
Designed so that children from across the Island , Southsea and Portsmouth can have a fun-packed adventurous full-day programme that fits with parent working hours ; the day starts with breakfast at 8am and finishes at 6pm after supper with all meals and activities included in the weekly price . Friendly , DBSchecked instructors and staff will create adventurous fun from Monday to Friday for two different age groups : ‘ Young Adventurers ’ aged 5 to 8 and ‘ Sports & Activities ’ aged 9 to 14 . Activities planned include sailing , coasteering , cycling , golf , arts & crafts , paddle boarding and zorbing , alongside treasure hunts for the younger groups and team building for the older groups . A residential option is also available with accommodation at Ryde School ’ s boarding houses in Bembridge and an extra weekend camping trip is also being planned . ‘ Early Bird ’ price discounts exist through April and May , please see www . rydeschool . org . uk / Summer-School or email Mrs .
