FOOD
There were 76 exhibitors at the show,
an increase on last year, and although
many came from the mainland, there
were also plenty of Island suppliers
displaying their quality produce,
including Calbourne Classics, Isle of
Wight Biltong, Isle of Wight Bread
Company, Isle of Wight Ice Cream
Company, Oil of Wight and Twins
Gluten Free.
Some big names participated
including Nescafe, Burts, Hildon,
McCain, Twinings, Tyrrells and
Walls and there were the smaller
ones represented by up and coming
suppliers such as Luscombe Organic
Drinks and Cheese Cellar.
Medina’s in-house butchery also
made an appearance, next to Medina’s
produce department which has grown
more so over the last few years.
Feedback from both suppliers and
visitors suggested it was the best show
yet!
