Food with a sea view
H
ere on the Island, the scenery and
landscape remain largely unchanged.
The outstanding natural beauty and local
produce create not only a feast for the
eyes, but also for your taste buds. With our very own
unique climate, the Island provides fertile grounds
for all the natural produce farmed here - from our
now world famous tomato’s, through to locally reared
meats. Local and freshly caught seafood can be found
being served up as specials and signature dishes daily
in restaurants, bistro’s and pubs all over the Island.
Most people will find that they are spoilt for choice
where to eat with superb sea views and locally
sourced fish dishes when looking for your eating
experience.
The amount of cafes, seaside eateries and fine dining
establishments serving up amazing food is constantly
growing, with new venues appearing regularly. With
the spring now officially here, the evenings getting
longer and beautiful sunsets to be watched, why not
treat yourself to breakfast, lunch or an evening meal,
or just sit back and relax on the seafront in one of the
many restaurants we’ve featured in this, the first of
our ‘Food With A View’ features…
