EQUESTRIAN
RDA given £1,107 boost
The Isle of Wight branch of
Riding for the Disabled has
been given a £1,107 boost
from the Island’s Livestock
Society.
A cheque was presented
to the President of the IW
RDA, Mrs Peggy Vanassche.
The money was raised at
a very well supported clay
pigeon shoot at Sainham, the
home of the I.W. Gun Club,
and from the wishing well at
76

Chale Farm.
The Isle of Wight Livestock
Society chose to raise
money for the RDA at the
suggestion of Tony Morris a
past chairman of the Society
who sadly passed away last
summer. His son Graham
and grandson Ben both
competed at the clay shoot
and Ben helped Cridmore
win the team competition.
