local BHS committee are constantly
working on your behalf and have
made representation on two Wind
farm applications stipulating national
guidelines, work consistently to
ensure that bridleways remain clear,
safe and open despite the difficulties
with council budget cut backs and
continue to promote safe riding on
the roads which is an essential part
of getting to and enjoying off road
riding.
Access Week aims to increase the
awareness of this work, and also to
publicise the need to raise funds and
support for the BHS’s work, which is
crucial to the equine industry.

this year, or if you would like to get
more hands-on with Rights of Way

Department for more information on
becoming an Access volunteer – or
join your local Affiliated Bridleway
Group.
