competition
A record number of competitors (45) battled
it out at this years annual Hedgelaying
Competition held at Kings Manor Farm
Freshwater by kind permission of Mr. & Mrs.
Jamie Sheldon. The day was enjoyed by over
800 spectators who witnessed the top three
places in the open section bein g separated
by a single point.
Judges Alan Ashby (from Kent) and
the islands Richard Grogan (IW Wildlife
Trust) spoke at the awards ceremony,
congratulating all the competitors on their
very high standards.
