Picasso C3, everything
in the right place
IT’S everything at once. It is compact but
bulging with roominess. And while it’s
undoubtedly square shaped, it is good
looking enough to turn heads.
But before we talk about its features, I
can feel a local moment coming on. This
is the perfect car for West Wight roads.
Yes, it irons out bumps – you’d expect
that from a Citroen. But this car, the C3
Picasso, looks at the potholes and laughs.
So here is a car which can do the serious
job of transporting a family comfortably
and stylishly with puppyish enthusiasm. It
loves corners and is itching for speed. It
doesn’t have masses of pull-away torque,
but makes up for that in its lively ride.
Internally it is strikingly roomy.
Everything is on the generous side,
including a giant digital speedo against
which you can instantly compare your
speed with the Island’s flashing tell-off
signs. Comfort features for the driver
are the generous supply of phone/MP3
chargers, a usefully-sized door pocket
