Well, I
had to pay
a visit to
the Ale &
Oyster and
I could not
have picked a better day, the
sun was shining and Ventnor
seafront was bustling with
visitors and locals. The first
thing I had noticed was that

life

the seafront had improved
greatly since I was last in
Ventnor, the cafe's, bars and
general appearance seemed a
lot cleaner and presentable, at
last after many years I can see
a turning point for Ventnor
seafront in sight.
The only thing I had noticed
was that when you park your
car down on the front the fee
notice board was very faded
and you could not see that
parking was actually free until
April 1st. Many drivers were
paying for the parking, is this
fair and more importantly
good for Ventnor? That's one
for the local Councillor, but I
don't suppose they will be in a
hurry to put this &
