Chinese evening was
a treat at Morgans
Tim Morgan finds a unique way to keep
his business buzzing
Tim Morgan, owner of
local Shanklin restaurant
Morgans is trying extremely
hard to keep the cash rolling
in, especially during these
difficullt times. Tim's latest
idea was to hold a Chinese
evening.
"It's something different for
my regular customers, and I
really enjoy doing them."
At first most people would
be a bit sceptical, an English
chef cooking Chinese em... you
think. Well I must say that Tim
Morgan excelled. The set menu
which cost £20 per head was
excellent value for money. The
menu consisted of six courses
including a mixed platter to
start, followed by a tom yum
soup, sweet & sour chicken,
pad thai noodles, coconut rice,
fillet of beef in black bean
The Island's most loved magazine
sauce and to finish oriental
ginger ice cream.
Tim's next evening is planned
already, "I am going to do a
Spanish night with authentic
Spanish Tapas and Paella."
If you would like to book for
the Spanish themed evening
then please call Tim on 01983
864900.
