HTP, is working with Marco
Pierre White to help develop
the potential of one promising
young Apprentice.
Whilst some people only dream
of working with their hero, for
one Catering Apprentice this is a
daily reality. Marco Pierre White
supports the Learning and Skills
Council’s (LSC) Apprenticeship
scheme through employing one
promising young Apprentice,
19-year-old Matt Whitfield, to
learn the ropes in his Hampshire
restaurant The Yew Tree.

beef scheme
‘The
best
beef I
have
ever
tasted’
and
‘melt in the mouth’, are just a
couple of the comments on the
beef reared by Ron Holland of
Kemphill Farm, Ryde and sold at
Briddlesford Lodge Farm Shop,
through their new ‘Boxed Beef
Scheme’.
The boxes contain 15-20kg
of grass-fed, farm assured
beef. Traditionally hung for 3-4
weeks, it is then butchered by
Paul Murphy Dry Cured Bacon
Co. At £8.00/kg, with cuts from
across the animal, you can be
assured of some top quality
