Over £21,000 raised
for local Sea Cadets
Cowes Sea Cadets – TS Osborne held a Gala
Dinner at the Royal Yacht Squadron on 8th
March to raise funds to fit out the proposed
new building for the Unit.
Sea Cadet Jonathan Marvin, aged 13 played
his keyboard during the welcoming reception.

The guest speaker was Sir Robin
Knox-Johnston. Included in the distinguished
guests was HM Lord Lieutenant Maj.
Gen Martin White, Mr Robin Aisher and
Commodore Luke Van Beek RN .
The President of Cowes Rotary: Mr Patrick
Massey presented a cheque for £700 to the
Unit. The auction conducted by Nick Bonham
raised over £21,000.
