favourite restaurant is Saffrons which is a nice
Indian, located in Cowes. My favourite home
cooked dish is Pork a la Creme. I do cook and
even load the dishwasher on the odd occasion!

restaurant is Joe’s, where I love the pasta.
At home, Laurie cooks a wonderful smoked
salmon omelette. And I tend to do the washing
up - my rule has always been he/she who cooks
does not clear up after them!
William Smith, Businessman: My favourite
restaurant at this present time is Morgans,
Shanklin. At home, my favourite dish is Salmon,
fish and steak. I’m afraid I do not cook at all I
normally have people in to cook and do the
washing up!

My favourite restaurant is Michaelangelos in
Ryde. The best I can ever muster is egg and bacon
or a roast, not very imaginative I’m afraid. My
wife Judith is a great cook but prefers to paint
her pictures. We live in a co-operative - we take it
in turns with the washing up. By the time we’ve
had a few glasses of wine we usually leave it until
the morning.
Mike Green, Chef: My favourite restaurant is St
Helens Restaurant. My favourite home cooked
meal is Sunday Roast with all the trimmings
which I love to cook. The kids would go hungry
if they relied on me cooking for them at home!
Generally I don’t have time to cook at home.
Washing Up - God No!!
Tim Morgan, Morgans Restaurant: My favourite
restaurant has to be The Royal, Ventnor, because
it is always so consistent. My favourite home
cooked food is line caught local Sea Bass. I don’t
cook at home normally, however sometime I cook
Stews & Cottage Pies for the kids.! Washing Up
- We have a dishwasher, which I must confess I
never load!
Mark Young, St. Helens Restaurant: My favourite
restaurant is The Royal, Ventnor. My favourite
home cooked dish is my wife’s (Lian’s) Wild
Mushroom Pancetta Risotto. I myself, cook
Sausage & Mash with Onion Gravy. Generally I
love to cook at home for relaxation. Washing
Up? - Don’t be silly we have a dishwasher!
