Long or short bobs are the key
to this season’s new hair styles
according to Paul Wyatt who,
along with his brother Peter, owns
Jaks Hair and Beauty shops in Ryde
and Newport.
Paul says: “The trend for the spring
is for a softer look as seen with the
celebs at the awards shows.
“It’s a definite move away from
some of the messier, big hair that
we saw on some of the catwalks
last year.
“Bobs can be short or long or even
slightly tousled. They will always
turn heads but it’s important they
are in perfect condition.
“That is the key to any style. A
shiny head of hair will always get
you noticed.”
Colour also plays a big part this
spring.
Paul adds: “Colour is so important
in hair and the leading cosmetic
companies such as Wella have
introduced vibrant reds and cool
blondes to complement these new
spring hair cuts.”
And whether it’s a sleek, straight
bob you’re after or one with a bit
of a kink to it, the new generation
of G.H.D (Good Hair Day) hair
irons now make it easier to
either straighten or curl hair at
home for a salon effect finish.
