Rolling onto
the Isle of
Wight
Well, Mr Giddings has really pulled it off
this time, he has only persuaded the Rolling
Stones to come and play this years Isle of
Wight Festival.
The Rolling Stones have now
confirmed their headlining spot on
the Sunday (June 10th) night at the
Isle Of Wight Festival 2007.
This will be the band’s first
festival appearance in over 30 years.
The last time the group played a
UK festival was at the Knebworth
Fair in August 1976, with the likes
of Lynyrd Skynyrd, Todd Rundgren
and 10cc.
The band join the other two
headliners Snow Patrol and Muse.
Also set to play are Ash, The
Feeling, Kasabian, Amy Winehouse,
Keane, The Fratellis, James Morrison
and Paulo Nutin.
The Isle Of Wight Festival 2007
takes place between June 8th and
10th. Tickets for the festival sold out
within hours of going on sale.

persuading.”
We asked John will they be doing
a full set? “Yes, they will be
