a half. Remember how I was told I would
have to open a window, it’s true we were
sitting in the lounge and became so hot we
had to open the patio door. Another thing
I dreaded was that we would have to go
through the routine each day of lighting the
fire, no, not at all, we keep it going 24 hours
a day, when we go to bed we simply push
the air flow knob in to restrict the airflow
and it just ticks away all night until the
morning. In fact in two weeks I think we
have had to light it twice which was really
easy anyway.
And as for my flatscreen TV, it works a
treat, the heat does not affect it at all, and
it’s still on the wall.
There are a couple of things we have
noticed since installing the wood burner,
firstly the house is warmed through
continuously and because it’s a completely
different type of heat, we do not suffer
from headaches any more which we used
to with central heating. And let’s not forget
the wonderful smell of oak wood working
