own vineyard, Rossiters; Veltins
Premium German Bier and many
others were on hand to discuss their
wines and wine making with the
visitors at the tasting.
Tim Flint, managing director of
Eurovines said, “This has been
the best tasting we have had the
pleasure to hold, with 15 different
wine producers present and what
we think must be the largest
number of wines on taste the island
has ever seen. It is always nice
to welcome our existing clients,
and to see so many new faces was
fantastic”. He went on to say that
the show has had a record number
of visitors, enjoying the many wines
on taste. “This has been a great
show for us. We have been able to
display our products and explain
our outstanding services to an array
of new and existing clients, further
increasing our business”.
Eurovines will be staging another
exciting wine tasting this summer,
aimed at the retail sector. This
too will have over 200 wines on
show, along with the producers
and suppliers for you to talk wine
with. Tickets will be available from
Eurovines later in the year. “This will
be a great event for the island’s wine
appreciating public. We can’t wait to
start pulling corks and unscrewing
bottles”.
