How To Book Your Service We enjoy the process of working with you to book your course or scientific service. As fish biologists, we like a hands-on approach to basically everything in science and education, so why not integrate that into business? We are a small company (2 people), so you will be talking with us directly through the whole process. The best way to begin is to contact us via email. We can work from there or set up a telephone or Skype meeting to continue discussions. You are welcome to visit us in Puerto Rico, and should our schedule allow we would be delighted to give you a sample of what we have to offer - especially in terms of field courses. But perhaps you would prefer to speak to someone about their experience with us first? We can provide contact information for past students and professors (who have agreed to share) so you can get an unbiased opinion about the quality of our service. Field Course Quick Answers We do not have set rates for the field courses, this allows us to work with your budget to accommodate your needs. We do have set rates for our services as coordinators and instructors.. We do not have set housing facilities. This allows us the freedom to tailor your field course to your needs and create a home base from different points on the island. We do have our own classroom facility with projector and space for your students to attend lecture. We do not arrange flights or rental cars due to our insurance policy. We do meet you at the airport to assist with luggage and transport to accommodations. We do not typically arrange food and dining, but private chefs can be coordinated for a separate fee which is generally agreeable to most budgets. We do arrange accommodations. We use local talent wherever possible. This means we integrate local students and experts to supplement our lectures and field experiences, allowing the opportunity for your students to network. Your instructors - Chelsea & Evan Tuohy - hold Ph.D.s in Marine Science & Biological Oceanography with over 30 years of combined diving experience and 7 years in field course management and operation. They have been traveling to and conducting research in Puerto Rico since 2008, and have resided in Puerto Rico since 2011. 17 18
