2 1 * South African National Council Feedback Dear Devotees of ISKCON South Africa Please accept my respects. All glories to Srila Prabhupada. We are really happy that you have this report on your screens. The South African National Council in its efforts to improve its service and accountability to you has introduced this Annual Report, to be presented on Gaura Purnima of each year. The devotees are the transcendental shareholders in Srila Prabhupada’s Movement, and we are duty bound to account to you on our activities. We hope that you will find this report inspirational and that you will continue to come forward and remain the custodian of some aspect of the preaching mission. During the year the South Africa National Council (SANC) appointed Regional Secretaries in KwazuluNatal and Gauteng to help oversee the development of our preaching efforts in these two important areas. We followed this up by convening ISKCON Connect road shows. Your various concerns and suggestions have been carefully noted and the Regional secretaries have been tasked to set up systems, make appointments and do whatever else is required to strengthen our community spirit and encourage a system of open transparent management. We have also seen new preaching centers open up in Sandton and Midrand. The Pietermaritzburg temple is scheduled for completion this year and the Richards bay property will be transformed to a Namahatta facility. We want to expand our outreach into new areas and share the glories of devotional service to more and more sincere souls. In our efforts to better organize ourselves in SA, we have made a number of tactical changes. We want to be at “work” for Krishna – to continue strengthening and solidifying our efforts. Over th
