Welcome to the summer IREM members! It has been a very exciting year in Las Vegas and I thank you
for electing me to lead our chapter this year. We have some great programs coming up – you won’t want
to miss Sheriff Lombardo in September or John Restrepo in October. Please note our Installation and
Awards banquet is being moved to November 4th so we all may observe the Veteran’s Day holiday the
following week.

Congratulations to our newest CPM’s and ARM’s – Annie-Laurie Bushman, David Simonson, Suzanne
Cole, Lori Emery, Sarah Gonzales and Fatima Mohamed.
Our golf tournament was one of our most successful to-date and we were able to provide a great benefit
to the community by donating the proceeds to Spread the Word. A huge thank you to this year’s golf
committee.
Our IREM Young Professional group has been a credit to our organization with the events they have
hosted this year. The first event at the Tilted Kilt boasted live music by Jeremy Cromwell Project
(a group of local artists). The free drinks, great food and raffle prizes were sponsored by Republic
Services, Enviro Safe, Sunland Asphalt, YESCO, Servpro of Downtown Las Vegas, and Berkshire
Hathaway. Our second event at Tommy Rockers had an even better turnout and we thank our sponsors
Nationwide Insurance (Chad North Agency), Enviro Safe, YESCO and Triple Crown. These are great
opportunities to meet new members and expand relationships with existing members. Hope to see you
at the next one!

Please join me in welcoming Chris Jackson as our newest Board Member. Chris joined the board as our
VP of Education in June after Stacy Inness relocated out of the market. Our most sincere gratitude is
extended to Stacy for her service to our chapter and we wish her all the best in her future endeavors.
We have two remaining educational offerings upcoming this year. Our Ethics course will be held on
December 4th, and our Capstone is being held December 7th through the 11th. If you need either
(or both) of these courses to complete your CPM ® certification, please visit the chapter website at
iremlasvegas.org to register.
Thank you for your membership. The unwavering cooperative spirit of our chapter is a credit to us all.
