School Embraces Motto : “ Every Student , Every Day ” Central Elementary School Principal , Diana Jones , embraces the school ’ s vision of “ Every Student , Every Day ” by tutoring student throughout the day . The school has exceeded expected growth and were # 1 overall in scores among all elementary schools in I-SS .
Hard Work Pays Off Central Elementary School celebrated on October 19 , 2016 as the North Iredell drum line and Superintendent Brady Johnson congratulated their community , students and staff for being named the 2015-16 # 1 Overall I-SS Elementary School and exceeding expected growth !
District holds Elementary Ignite Summit for the
first time . Iredell-Statesville Schools held an elementary level Ignite Summit on October 27 , 2016 . Students from each school attended and had the opportunity to learn ways to deal with bullying at school . These students will take what they have learned and present these to their school .
Annual Ignite Summit The district held their annual Ignite Summit on October 20 , 2016 . A team of students for all middle and high schools attended and learned ways to be an upstander and not a bystander .
