My name is Tamara and I am the publisher and manager of Katy Moms Blog, a blog designed to inform and encourage moms in the Katy, Texas, area. Juggling this venture with my family is not always easy, but the rewards of following my passion and being able to enjoy time with my family are worth it!
I started my blog as a way to consolidate information about our local area. Katy Moms Blog has become something more than I ever imagined it could be. I have enjoyed meeting so many local business owners and residents, but what I have enjoyed most is hearing about how families are connecting because of the blog! It’s been a joy to watch this little idea grow, and I have learned so much about business and blogging because of it.
I am a native to Louisiana, but have truly found my home here in Texas. I love the Houston area, the diversity, and opportunities that it provides. I am happily married to my college sweetheart. We have one spunky three year old daughter, and another daughter arriving in late September. I am excited and nervous to enter this new stage of life, but at this point, I am just ready for the hot Texas summer to be over! I enjoy spending time with my family, spending time with friends, and can usually be found doing some sort of activity at our church.
The very best thing about being a mompreneur is the chance to pour my heart into two things that I love- my family, and my business.
