‘EYE ON JAMZ” RADIO PROGRAM TO AIR EVERY TUESDAY ON
NEUE REGEL RADIO PLATFORM—DJ ION CHAOS SET TO HOST!
Atlanta, Ga.—It was announced today by CEO/Editor-in-Chief Kiki Plesha that the global publication ION
Indie Magazine is embarking on a new venture. On August 23, 2016, the publication will officially launch
the radio show "Eye On Jamz", on the Neue Regel Radio Platform. On board to host the show is Assistant
Editor and Columnist for the magazine, Shawn Peters, aka "DJ ION Chaos". Peters—who is also the
singer/songwriter/guitarist for the Ohio-based group TFP--will be featuring a wide variety of music of all
genres, selected from the artists that are featured in the popular publication. According to Peters, "I'm
excited for this adventure with Neue Regel Radio! Our shared vision is simply another victory for indie artists
worldwide. #BeTheRevolution".
The addition of a radio show to the magazine's repertoire is one that is in keeping with the publication's
mission to get independent music read about, seen and heard. Plesha states, "It was part of my vision to
not only provide media coverage for all genres of independent music, but to also explore ways to offer career
support for the many talented and hard-working artists that appear in our pages. I envisioned ION Indie
Magazine as more of a 'movement', rather than a magazine. My hope was to grow the publication and utilize
it as a vehicle through which artists would receive significant exposure for their music; one that went the
'extra mile' on artists' behalf. To this end, immediately after our launch in June of 2014, I formed a coalition
