ION INDIE MAGAZINE September 2016, Volume 28 | Page 127
It was only fitting that a poet like JOHN FARLEY was playing with his band FACTORY RATS in the parking lot
of The Worthen House in downtown Lowell, MA—especially as that is where Edgar Allen Poe also penned a
few little “ditties” of his own--such as “The Raven” and “The Bells”.
Factory Rats are a soulful concoction--much in the likes of Cocker and crew. And hopefully, with a little help
from their friends (and fans), their self-titled album will get some mileage out of "Electric Wine” and "New
Way Home"--a couple of my immediate faves!
