On July 26th,here in El Paso, Texas, we had an outrageous touring
package roll into TRICKY FALLS…and make no mistake--we were
ready for it! COAL CHAMBER, FEAR FACTORY, DEVIL YOU KNOW,
SAINT RIDLEY and MADLIFE took no prisoners that evening, with
an onslaught of Metal Madness! Now, the show didn't sell out,
but the bottom floor was packed, close to 800 in attendance, and
these 800 were well taken care of by these 5 national acts.
I was pleasantly surprised right from the beginning with Madlife-it was just good solid Rock and Metal, and it never stopped
throughout the entire night with each act that followed. But truth
be told, this El Paso crowd was here to see the top three acts. You
would think it would be Coal Chamber, being the headliner, but by
talking to various people, it seemed to me that there was an equal
fan base for each of these top three. But, without a doubt, Coal
Chamber was the act to see! They put on a fantastic show, as I
knew they would. It was the 3rd date on this U.S. tour, which will
last 6 weeks. So if you're a fan of this type of music--and I don't
know anyone who isn't in my circle--you will walk away with your hair blown back, totally satisfied and with the mindset you
surely got your money’s worth! In my opinion, a “must see” if this tour comes thru your town!
