One of the most popular independent artists in South Texas, DAVID MARTINEZ, a veteran of SXSW and TEXAS INDIE FEST, has
been touring regionally with THE DAVID MARTINEZ BAND, playing both local and regional shows. Airing on independent and
terrestrial radio coast to coast and internationally, David's music has been heard regionally on C101 ROCKS “Area 101” with
DJ MONTE MONTANA, on 94.7 JALAPENO COUNTRY, and on AM 1670 DEWBERRY JAM COMMUNITY RADIO in San Antonio.
Having shared the stage with such musical greats as IAN MOORE, MATT HOLE, VALLEJO, BILLY JOE SHAVER, JOHNNY
RODRIGUEZ and the STATESBORO REVUE, David and his band returned to the MATHIS FREEDOM FEST this 4th of July
Weekend. After his successful summer tour including dates in New Braunfels, San Antonio, and Austin, David and the band
will be playing locally this fall/winter at the HOUSE OF ROCK, EXECUTIVE SURF CLUB and TEXAS INDIE FEST 2--a regional
celebration of independent music presented by MATCH 1 ENTERTAINMENT and INDIE ON AIR! RECORDS. MARINA ARTS is a
big supporter of musicians in Corpus Christi, and David frequently performs at their “Arts Walk” and other civic events-including the BAY JAMMIN’ CONCERT AND CINEMA SERIES at Cole Park and the CCIA MUSIC SERIES at the Corpus Christi
International Airport. David has done two successful US tours and has recorded three professional records available via CD
