While working for Sound Choice, he slowly began building his own studio, and by 2008, he
was ready to open the doors of KNOTHOLE RECORDING STUDIO. Currently serving the greater
Charlotte area, his clients range from needing simple vocal tracks, to full length CD
production. His client list includes a multitude of local musicians, including RANDY PAUL,
MICHAEL TRACY and PUNKY MEADOWS (from the 70’s Hard Rock band ANGEL). Most
recently, he completed a CD for the Hard Rock band RAPID FIRE, which is available through
MUSIC TREE, the distribution arm of Knothole Recording Studio.
In the past several years, during his stint as lead guitarist for THE MICHAEL TRACY BAND, he
has shared the stage with such notables as GEORGE THOROGOOD AND THE DELAWARE
DESTROYERS, STYX, FOREIGNER, DON FELDER, THE GEORGIA SATELLITES, GREGG ALLMAN
BAND, JEFFERSON STARSHIP, DOKKEN, ZACH MYERS (of SHINEDOWN)--and a host of others.

As a well-known, and well respected member of the local music community in Charlotte, he
donates a lot of time and plays several benefit concerts and events throughout the year for
several charitable organizations.
Boo is currently finishing up tracks for a solo CD of mostly original tunes with a couple cover
tunes. All instruments on the CD show his talent as both musician and recording engineer, as
he plays all of the instruments (drums, guitar, bass, keyboards) as well as all vocals.
