A native of Charlotte, North Carolina, BOO ENGLISH started playing after getting his first guitar
at age 10, which is when he first started learning to record his own tracks. Throughout middle
and high school, he played guitar for various local bands. After high school, he continued
playing with various bands, most notably the Hard Rock band LION HEART. Hired in 1996, Boo
worked as a staff recording engineer at SOUND CHOICE STUDIOS, Charlotte, NC, where he
learned to record all genres of music, from Rock and Country to Big Band and Rap. He also
played on many of the tracks recorded at Sound Choice as a studio session guitarist.
