With "The King Is Crowned", we went out to California, taking our experience and knowledge from the making of the EP, and just tried to make the best CD that we could--never losing focus on writing good songs--the kind of songs we would want to hear if we were buying the CD. Eric: In the writing process for the music on "The King Is Crowned" CD, does everyone contribute or is it predominately written by one or two guys? Danny: We have a pretty collective process of writing. Zeb does a lot of the lyrics, Casey will come together with a riff, and I may lay something down on top of it--or Matt or Mike. It's just one of those things where it can start off with something as simple as a lyric or guitar riffs, then we build off it and it's very collective. E &
