VELVET INSANE is a four piece Rock 'N' Roll band from Östersund in Sweden. The band was formed in the end of 2013 and
they released their debut EP "Youth On Fire" in October of 2014. The second EP of these Swedish Rockers was released in
June of 2015, and it is entitled "Break Out Of Eden".
I really love the title track “Break Out Of Eden”, with its pure punch of POWER! All the elements are present: Epic guitar solos
and exceptional vocals—supplied by singer Jonas Eriksson. This song has a melody that permeates the brain and
remains…long after the last note has sounded. “Do You Want Blood?” is interesting track, as it marries “gentle” and “rough”—
you get it BOTH ways! It is a track of Swedish ATTACK! Great change-ups are present in this track.
The third song, “Frame”, is an exceptional ballad that truly showcases Jonas Eriksson’s vocals and a fabulously completes
this EP. Eriksson’s vocals are clear and emotional and are only equalled by the superb musicianship—delivering a stadiumready ballad worthy of any legendary Rock band.
This second offering of “Break Out Of Eden” by Velvet Insane is a desired addition to every lover of pure Rock 'N' Roll music’s
library. And in my opinion, every track on this album is potential hit! Fantastic riffs, enthralling singing, great production,
stellar song-writing and impressive musicianship…what else is needed? I highly recommend this EP by Velvet Insane. And be
sure and keep your eyes—and ears—on these Swedish Rockers…I know I am!
