2011 brought about a change in name and personnel for STILLROOM, as THE RISING PROJECT carried on the Rock ‘n’ Roll torch. Following a packed-out wall to wall launch night in FIBS ROCK BAR in Dublin, the guys marched on to play London again and landed a support slot with the prestigious PAT MCMANUS BAND, before ending the year with a widely received hometown fundraiser for the “Irish Heart Foundation”. 2012 saw the guys garnering a support slot with top UK act THE BURNING CROWS and got back to their roots in the studio, writing all new material, once again under their original alias, Stillroom. The summer of 2013, Stillroom released a double A-side single "Christopher Cloud" and "Better Days" as a teaser for their upcoming album. Both were received with great appraisal domestically, with plaudits from IMRO & KRANK, along with international acclaim via online reviewers and blogs. A year later, the "Good to Be Alive" album launched, along with an HMV in-store performance—with "Good to Be Alive" breaking the Irish Charts. Stillroom kicked off the “GTBA Tour” with numerous dates in the UK added, and continued to hit the tour circuit. 2015 heralded the release of the second single, "Keep on Walkin", along with the accompanying controversial video (produced by DEAD DOG’S EYE). And the accolades kept coming…the third single "Take it Back", was selected earlier that year by UK music blogger MARK MULDOON on his “Glastonbury Emerging Artists Playlist” for 2015. Accompanied by another classic video, the “Take it Back” single has received air play from Miami to Germany, proving Rock ‘n’ Roll is well and alive in Ireland. To date, Stillroom continues to play, with new releases due in June of 2016. They’ve recently added to their lineup two new members: BRIAN MORIARTY will be assuming rhythm guitar duties and SANDEEP “Mandeep” SINGH will be keeping the beat behind the drum kit. Stillroom will be supporting two American acts in Dublin this summer—JD’S REVENGE and ORBIT’S TEARS--on the European leg of their “Impact Tour”.
