Catching Up With…

JAMIE ALIMORAD

Here at ION Indie Magazine, we like to develop a relationship with featured artists and the bands. Sharing the
success stories not only helps to generate excitement for the musicians and our staff, but for you, our ION family and
friends. Bah-Boom, here is a multi-faceted, very talented, singer/songwriter from Boston to put on the “Watch List”:
JAMIE ALIMORAD.
Jamie is one of the “Pop” artists that we featured in the October 2014 Issue of ION and he has been very productive
since that first introduction. Jamie has a just made a major announcement:
“I am heading back into the studio later this month to record an album with Grammy-nominated singer, songwriter
and producer GINO VANNELLI.”
Vannelli has wowed the hearts of many hopeful romantics with sentiment and timeless love songs. Some of those
first hit records were released in the late 70’s including, “I Just Wanna Stop” from the 1978 album “Brother to
Brother”.
On May 10, 2015 Jamie and Gino Vannelli met in Philadelphia to discuss the upcoming album.
“I'm extremely excited that the project has grown in size and scope! We'll be doing a 10 song full-length recording
and begin work on the lead single at the end of June. Gino is the producer of the album. He will also be playing some
of the instruments with me.”
Video of the studio sessions are expected to be filmed when the two meet again, to depict the intimate details of
their recording process. Look for it on Jamie's Website and FB page. His enthusiasm is contagious and will more
than likely attract many more new fans and followers this year:
“My song "Crawling Back To Me" is featured in the E-book, “H8 Society: How An Atomic Fart Saved The World”! It
was released on May 7, 2015. As of May 12th it has over 700,000 downloads and shows no sign of slowing down!”
