Scotty J: With a final parting thought along those lines, what would you tell artists today that are trying to make it? Is there any particular advice you'd give them? Tom Keifer: The best advice--and I don't care what decade you're in--I just think that the most important thing for anyone or any musician and artists is to just be you. Play what's in your heart, and play what you feel, because ultimately, success comes from the source. If it's authentic, people will feel it. If you're chasing trends and trying to be something else, you're probably always going to be a day late on that. So if you just do your best to develop the talent that is truly you or uniquely you, and it might take years for the trend to come around to you. But, one day you'll be the trend, and you'll be authentic and that's what's going to connect with people. www.facebook.com/TomKeiferOfficial • http://www.tomkeifer.com/
