In Northeast Pa, we have a great music scene. There is no shortage of finding something that suits you, and WITHOUT A MARTYR, a Metal band from Scranton, PA, made sure to include some up-and-coming bands of varying genres, and a staple of the scene to their show. This all- ages show was held at THE VINTAGE in Scranton, PA. KARATE CAMP opened the show with their Indie Punk sound and the crowd was digging it. This young band is working hard at getting their music out there. I am looking forward to seeing where they take their band. Next on the stage with their Hard Rock/Metal sound, was LIFE AFTER MISERY. Their goal is to change people for the better with their music, and maybe with the release in the coming months of their “Welcome to the Dead Show” album, they will do just that. The crowd was drawn in and very wild for this band. With the crowd pumped, CAUSE OF AFFLICTION took their cue with their Metal/Hard Rock sound, and had the place rocking. The pit was incredible and the band was really feeling it and giving the audience what they wanted. Incredible performance and tons of energy to go around. They treated the crowd to lots of new material, but made sure to include some favorites such as “Salami” where we got MORE KEG! This is their slogan for a staple of their show, where the lead singer beats an empty keg in time to the jam. With the venue now filled to capacity, and a few people climbing the outside walls to peek in the windows, Without A Martyr took us all prisoners. With the lead man, ERIC ROSS actually leaving the stage and being one with the crowd at times, you could feel the electricity in the room. Your attention didn't know where to go. "Red gets you the attention," goofed some of the band mates of PHIL LUONGO, drummer, with his red hair and pants. But that wasn't the reason he was grabbing the
