Again, she felt that everyone abandoned her—and that she had given out the last piece of her soul. Until a
friend urged her to return to the “open jams”—and Karli found her voice again…AND that people still wanted
to hear it. And it was at one of these “jams” that a friend of a friend introduced Karli to the band
Masquerade—her current band. Today, Karli is writing new music with virtuoso guitar player and band mate
SHERRI BABY ROXX.
She recounts as one of her most “memorable” moments in Masquerade: The guys in Masquerade wear white
face and wanted to use “black lights” to enhance that effect. However, the black lights were positioned on
the floor—next to the fan. When the fan caught Karli’s skirt and blew it up (shades of Marilyn!)—exposing her
now glowing white panties. Epic. Like Karli describes it, “Unless I was WENDY O and shooting ping pong
balls with my crotch…the black lights had to go!” Not that Karli is a shrinking violet…she is known for the
occasional “flashing”.
