“I don’t want to be famous…
I want to be HEARD.”
ION Indie Magazine is pleased to present this month’s REVERBNATION “Artist of
the Month”, WOLF CRITTON. Sponsored by a superb guitar manufacturer, LUNA
GUITARS…along with SHURE MICS, PIGNOSE AMPS and D’ADDARIO STRINGS, Wolf
brings an edgy sound to Rock and soulful Blues. This singer-songwriter is a hit
making hits--appearing on “Steve Harvey in the Morning” radio show,
Connecticut Style News--even playing for the mayor of his city. Wolf draws
inspiration for his songs from many avenues. From growing up on the streets of
Harlem to serving two tours as an infantryman in Iraq, Mr. Critton’s songs are filled
with emotion.
Wolf has been a poet longer than a songwriter. He won a poetry contest at age
5, but didn’t start playing music until he was serving in Iraq, when a friend offered
a guitar as an outlet to keep the “demons” in check from a failed relationship
and battlefield stresses. This outlet proved to be therapeutic for Wolf, and he
flourished with his new found talent. His easy manner, good looks, intelligence,
and pure talent, have gained him new fans across the globe. I highly
recommend you give Wolf Critton a listen!
