Chicago, Memphis, St. Louis, New Orleans: all great cities for music--and Blues in particular. But this month’s ReverbNation
artist hails from a place where piña coladas and banana trees are the norm. From the Country of Brazil, MILK’N BLUES makes
a statement with Latin-infused Blues. As strange as it may seem, Brazilian music, American Rock, Pop, Metal and Blues have
all been an influence on this band’s eclectic style.
Milk'n Blues’ members are as varied as their musical influences. ALINE MOTA, the lead singer, gains her inspiration from
female singers of the '40's (such as The CHORDETTES and THE SUPREMES))--to more recent Pop singers, such as MICHAEL
JACKSON and CE LO GREEN. Besides singing lead, she has the unique ability to sing along another singer in a higher third,
and her bandmates call her the "Harmonist Pedal".
ANNE GLOBER is also a lead vocalist with a bigger influence in Rock ‘n’ Roll. She enjoys singing LED ZEPPELIN and JNAIS
JOPLIN, with their more aggressive style. That doesn't stop her from other styles, like RAY CHARLES or THE BEATLES, though.
Her range and voice control appears to be unlimited.
INDIARA SFAIR adds the Bluesy harmonica to the band. Also singing backup vocals and the occasional lead, she is
accomplished with the flute, guitar and piano. With a major in music at the School of Fine Arts of Panara, her influences are
Rock, Heavy Metal, and as every flute player also admires—JETHRO TULL.
PIATAN SFAIR, Indiara’s brother, is the drummer and backing vocal singer. Rock ‘n’ Roll has always had a presence in his life,
