truly breaks out and demonstrates her vocals with accompaniment by both acoustic guitar and piano in
“Ohne Probe”. Melodic operatic singing in “Medusa's Tale” is a song of the ominous creature and the
ambiance is captured with changes in pace and dramatic sounds. Worthy of a listen are also: “Circle Of
Greed” where flute again complements the mix of strong riffs and operatic singing, the powerfully brilliant
offering “Sphinx”, “Case Of Pandora” with growling accents and “Impetus” with its stand-out guitar solo.
This music is rich and moody, with interesting stops and starts and progressions that build to crescendos of
excitement.
The musicians of MORLAS MEMORIA blend their instruments into a harmonious marriage of sound. The
many layers and nuances provide the listener with a new experience with each subsequent visit. I highly
recommend this CD to Symphonic Gothic Metal lovers of such bands as NIGHTWISH and WITHIN
TEMPTATION.
