Welcome once again , my friends , to my humble dwelling . I hope the winter winds haven ’ t chilled your bones too badly . More often than not , I tend to stay in my warm little cave for as much of the cold weather as I can manage .

Silence in the dark of night Just like the light of day Can be a slow killer That just never goes away
Sitting in the darkness The mind races on its way Silence only makes it worse As thoughts just tick away
Even thoughts within your head Though buried deep inside Racing to the surface where You have nowhere left to hide
Swallowed by the silence in the night … will it ever end ? It seems the mind can be the best tool and worst enemy when it comes to the human journey . Think , but do not overthink . There is no secret recipe to life . But quite simply , the less you try to fight the current , the further you will be able to ride the wave .
We are well into 2017 now and it is TIME . The revolution has begun--and you are invited to play a leading role . All that is needed of you is to conquer your own local area . Make sure the businesses in town know who you are … and that you provide live entertainment .
Granted you will need to take into consideration your goals and hold strong to your focus , as it will be easy to lose . Complacency is an evil , yet comfortable , void to a musician . Don ’ t let it take your soul out of you ! Life ’ s path is already full of distractions and people telling you who to be and what to do .
Be yourself . You do not need to sound like anyone but YOU . Write about what you are driven to scribe out . Sing , whisper , scream … but above all , do not let the echoing madness that is this world convince you that dreams are not real . Reality is what you make of life .
