February is associated with the emotion of love , as we celebrate Valentine ’ s Day during this month . This issue of ION presents an artist that we are confident you will love — and that is the multidimensional singer / songwriter and Northern Ireland ’ s own KAZ HAWKINS ! You cannot read her story of strife and survival — and her testament to the power of the human spirit--and NOT be moved ! ION loves Kaz Hawkins … and so will you ! It was my honor to interview and spend time with this beacon of talent and tenacity during her U . S . “ Shake The States ” promotional tour .
