I asked about the name. It represents many things: being judged, but to make them eat their words--just
once. I FN LOVE THAT! That was me not so long ago...they get it! It also means you only have one life and
it’s precious…do what you love. These guys just flat-out love music. I didn't get that at 19, I can assure
you. One answer from Sebastian, Wrath, Bam and Chase pretty much sealed the deal for me, believing
that we will not stop seeing this band progress very rapidly any time in the near or distant future. I asked
that if there was only one thing you could get the readers of ION INDE MAGAZINE to know about you, what
would it be? Yeah, I know--not very original. Hey man, I'm still kinda new at this. I want to know and I'm
not trying to reinvent the wheel here. I just want to spin it my way--so, deal with it. Their response? “We
just try to make real music and record our best in the studio AND entertain at shows.” They are very
conscious about the importance of entertainment and to them, your time means something to them.
They do not want to just stand there zipping out tunes. They want to take you on a ride and ROCK and
keep you engaged. I know guys that still don't get that. I have faith in guys that think it through and get
it. It just takes it to new levels to achieve this rare quality so early in their blooming and flourishing career
in Rock ‘n’ Roll, in music…in LIFE.
No, we don't have to worry about these four young Rockers in Once Around. And we sure as hell DO NOT
have to fear for the future of Rock. We just have to kick back and listen to some great new music coming
our old-ass ways. Once Around will rise to the top of every level they ROCK through. Remember: the best
shit is at least 90% true. Once Around IS the next generation of Rock ‘n’ Roll because they stay pure to
the discipline and 100% true to their vision and art. How you like them FN apples, old man?
