JAYMI: Splashes of color (green) can be any color (green). HOWEVER, there will be some hints of pink that surprise you. We are thinking of unique ways to add colors and their meanings based on the song. The fun has just begun! BRETT: It will be an artsy concept type video. Scenes that show life as an adventure and how sometimes those times on the journey can get you caught up in places you hadn’t thought of-exploring dimensions- sometimes with shiny happy people with large cookie jars… KIKI: What can people take away from listening to your CD? JAYMI: “They can hear daily life. They can hear the cry of sadness and the joy of laughter. Life hurts sometimes and it is ok to express that. When you listen to all types of bands as a fan, the songs move you. I believe that people will be moved by our songs. Some have shared that they have heard things that speak right to them--as if we wrote the song to them. Others have said that we sound like their favorite bands. We take that as the sincerest form of encouragement. It is exciting to hear that people identify with a song--whether it makes them dance or stirs their hearts. My hope is that the songs become part of them as they are us. We are all a big family so when one suffers, we all do. BRETT: The CD has a positive message and sentiment that says that you are not alone because we all fi ght this thing called life. If the music can make you dance or cry, what’s better than that? It is truth and it is reality. JAYMI: The underground buzz that has been stirring around the release of the CD has been very encouraging and I am humbled by the responses we have received from friends and fans around the globe, thank you all for rolling with us on this journey and I hope that many of our paths will cross as we come to your cities and towns. KIKI: What are the plans for 2015 and what can we expect from Innocent Monday? JAYMI: We are looking forward to meeting many new people and see how our family grows. We have some friends in international circles and are being asked to fly across “the big pond” to share the songs. That is always a great time! We want to bring the live experience to as many places as possible, we want to make sure we spend time with our friends here in the states as well! BRETT: You can expect a great show from us. We will not do anything that is subpar. Also, we are forging ahead on our second CD. It will not be the same, but we guarantee that it will still be very powerful and colorful and will hit home! JON: From all of the encouragement and rave reviews, we honestly believe that if given the opportunity, you will want to spend time with us in the live setting and support what we stand for. Nothing would give us more satisfaction than to know that we have touched the lives of the people who need it most. Forget about all of the “rockstar” mentality; forget about what people deem as success. Success to me is bringing music to people and if it touches their soul, we have done what we came to do and THAT is what I am looking forward to for the year 2015 and beyond. www.innocentmonday.com www.facebook.com/innocentmonday13
