They kind of go like this (I apologize in advance):  Paul McCartney split from Heather Mills. Reportedly, she didn’t have a leg to stand on in the ensuing divorce proceedings.  Britney Spears was running amuck and doing all sorts of cray cray things, some involving a baseball bat, giving new meaning to “Hit Me Baby One More Time”.  Steve Irwin, The Crocodile Hunter, took the “plunge”—so to speak (and not in a good way). It has been reported, that not one single croc shed a tear. Yes, all news-worthy and important moments in history…agreed. But one event was probably the most “under reported”…also in 2006 (filed under “chance meetings”), the founders of INNOCENT MONDAY, JON BRADFORD and JAYMI MILLARD first crossed paths via a Nashville gig. The rest, as they say…is history. As Jon and Jaymi tell it, they met on a gig backing an area singer/songwriter. It turned out to be a “one-off” deal, as the artist did not continue to play live. But at the time, the guys had other musical interests they were pursuing. Jon had some cool things he was doing with his drums and African percussion skills, while touring with various bands. And there WAS that unique voice he possessed. Jaymi, being the consummate bass player (a connoisseur of basses, no less!), continued what he knew best—and that was holding down the low end for a number of artists on the road
