On October 19, 2014 here in El Paso, Texas, at the ABRAHAM CHAVEZ THEATER, HEART hit the stage
right on time. Opening up with “Barracuda”, they followed with hit after hit--such as, “Magic Man”, “Crazy
on You” and “Straight On”. The audience was on their feet during the entire show; singing every word to
every song.
As I stood in the pit and shot this show, I was quite taken back by the reaction of this El Paso crowd--and
you could tell by the expression on ANN and NANCY WILSON’S faces the crow’s exuberance was not lost
on them. I spoke to a few people after the show and without a doubt, they said it was the best show they
had ever seen.
I must admit, and I've seen Heart four times back in 70's—and even after 40 years, Ann and Nancy are
still dismantling venues! Do yourself a favor, when this show comes to town, buy your ticket and get to
the show…you won't be sorry!
