Story and Photography by Lisa Sasserath Boehm http://lisasasserathboehm.500px.com/ • http://sasserathphotography.zenfolio.com/ Nestled in the heart of York, Pennsylvania, a bustling little suburb of Harrisburg, sits the STRAND CAPITOL PERFORMING ARTS CENTER. The Center, a coupling of the Capitol and Strand Theatre, date back as far as 1906. The breathtaking venue was the perfect host for THE LONE BELLOW--the self-described Southernborn, Brooklyn-based Indie Folk band. The quartet, comprised of ZACH WILLIAMS, KANENE PIPKIN, BRIAN ELMQUIST and JASON PIPKIN, brought the standing-room-only crowd to their feet and rocked the house for hours with their powerful “bellows” in late February. Each member contributed their very own unique technique that, when combined, created a synergy and commanding sound unlike anything else out there today. You must hear them live to fully grasp their unreserved brilliance. Check them out here: http://www.thelonebellow.com https://www.facebook.com/TheLoneBellow
