Laying Down Roots with Music by TROUBLE CITY ALL-STARS “Troubles” TROUBLE CITY ALL-STARS Interview and Photography by Lisa Sasserath Boehm • Sasserath Photography http://sasserathphotography.zenfolio.com • http://lisasasserathboehm.500px.com TROUBLE CITY ALL-STARS, the Lehigh Valley-based self-described roots, Rock and Reggae group, has been jamming together in Pennsylvania and beyond, steadfast in delivering their Marley-inspired vibe for the last 8 years and show no signs of slowing down. It was in November of last year when I was first introduced to the foursome, as they were support for the WAILERS at the MUSIKFEST CAFÉ located in Bethlehem, PA. They blew me away--and I’ve been a fan ever since. I had the opportunity to get some Q’n’A going with the gang and am more impressed than ever. Their obvious love for music--real music--is quite refreshing. They have the right idea and it shows: “Music should be free and out there for people to enjoy. We sell our music as well but often give more away for free. Fans come and pay to see you play, so giving away a CD feels right.” – Trouble City All-Stars, 2015. LSB: Can you tell me the names of all band members, including the role you each play both on and off stage (Manager, etc.)? TCAS: TODD JUKNEVIC-Vocals/Drums and Album Art, CHRISTOPHER MCDERMOTT-Guitar, JOSH KRAVETTESaxophone and Keyboard, SETH JUKNEVIC-Bass/Booking Agent/Band Manager. LSB: How did the band form? When? Why did you decide to play the genre or genres you do?
