Kathrine Smith PSC, ASC 1. Can you tell us who you are and what you do? I am Kathrine Smith, I Coach and Mentor secondary school students in schools in Berkshire enabling them to lead a happier and more contents life. 2. What is your elevator pitch? 
 Propel yourself into positivity and make the change to a more successful and contented life. 3. What is the one thing that makes you unique in this profession? Life coaching in secondary schools is rare, I work with students, teachers and assistants 1:1, in groups, workshops and presentations. 4. What makes you stand out from the crowd? 
 I spend a lot of time understanding young people and their world so that they feel familiar and comfortable with me and we get results. 5. What inspired you to become a coach? 
 Curly Martin inspired me to become a coach and does so every day. She is an amazing coach, trainer, mentor and very dear friend. 6. What has been the most powerful moment in your career? Making a difference to a young man with anger management problems who went from being in the school office most days for causing trouble to not at all. 7. Have you ever been coached yourself? I have been coached by lots of students on Curly Martin's Diploma course as I am crew leader on her courses. 8. What is the most powerful coaching lesson you have ever learned? Never to make assumptions, in my first coaching session I assumed someone had a husband when actually their partner was female. 9. What is your favourite coaching question? I love the Cartesian questions which are so powerful when a person is stuck and require a little assistance to think of things from different perspectives. 10. Who has been the biggest influence on you? 
 Curly Martin, I would not be doing what I do today or be the coach that I am without her outstanding attitude, approach, inspiration, energy and amazing knowledge. 11. What message do you have for anyone who aspires to have you as their role model? 
 Be trained by an outstanding coach, believe in yourself, be determined and persevere and be prepared to learn even when things are not going well and life will change. 12. What important question didn't we ask you, and why? Who and what drives me forward in my coaching practice? Because you have not asked me about my passion and what drives me forward to make a difference to my student’s lives which is so important to me. 13. Would you like to be interviewed?
